FAQs
What's the difference in the sweeteners?
Both xylitol and erythritol aid in preventing cavities, but it's actually been recently proven that erythritol is now better than xylitol at this! It's also not toxic to dogs like xylitol is! Win, win! But for those who don't like the sweetener option at all, we do have an option to go without a sweetener.
How much hydroxyapatite does your tooth powder contain?
We use 10% natural hydroxyapatite in our tooth powder so to give room for the other ingredients to fully play out their benefits as well!
Is xylitol safe?
Yes! Xylitol is only toxic to dogs! Purchase one of our erythritol or sweetener-free options if you have pups in your home that may get into your tooth powder.
Is tooth powder used with toothpaste or in lieu of?
This will replace your conventional toothpaste (and then some)!
How do you use tooth powder?
Using this natural tooth powder is simple:
1. Wet your toothbrush and shake off excess water.
2. Dip your toothbrush into the powder or sprinkle a small amount onto the bristles.
3. Brush your teeth as usual for two minutes, focusing on all surfaces.
4. Rinse thoroughly.
Are the flavors strong?
Not at all! We believe in only lightly flavoring our tooth powder so it's not overpowering. This will altogether be different than using traditional toothpaste!
